Yeah, I read that 2 mask thing also - figure they got stock in the mask manufacturers if it passes! I had to laugh at the idiot Newsom in CA who proposed pulling your mask up and down in between bites or drinks when out. UNLESS, of course, you're at a swanky place in wine country and lunch is $300 each then you can do as you please.

I sure recall the "No Shirts, No Shoes, No Service" signs growing up. Did the cancel culture just wipe that out and now private businesses can't decide who they will or will not do business with? I've seen a couple of videos where a retail store enforced it but nothing the size of Walmart. They won't allow the bad publicity.

Wife's shot was from Pfizer. There were 2 other nurses on her floor who experienced the same side effects with the second shot.

Wife(RN) got her second shot last week and it kicked her butt - didn't get out of bed the entire next day. Felt aches and pains like flu but only lasted 24 hrs. Next day she was pretty much back to normal(as much as expected)! I'm not sure which version she got at the hospital. i'll take once those who need it more get theirs. I work from home so in contact with very few people unless I go to the store then I mask up.

What really puzzles me is why retail stores won't block people from entering who don't have a mask on, stop people in the store who don't have a mask on or aren't wearing correctly, refuse service to any who don't comply. Okay, I know the almighty dollar speaks louder than people's lives but until we take the bull by the horns, this is going to be a very long pandemic!

Unless you have folks wearing N95 masks or respirators that have been fit tested, it doesn't matter what everyone else wearing. Pandemics are known to last a long time, everyone forgets that since nobody alive today can remember the last one.

Got my first Moderna on 12/31/20, had a sore shoulder for about 12 hours. Got my second one Monday and had a sore shoulder for about 24 hours, no other side affects. I know three other guys who got their second shot Monday as well and they all had 100-104 temps and uncontrollable chills most of the evening. Interesting how differently if affects everyone.

Heard reports last night at work we had an inmate at another facility get the shot last week and died a few hours later at the hospital. Will have to wait and see what the department has to say in its press release. They’ve already done one round of shots for staff and inmates who wanted it at my facility.

There is so much misinformation about masks out there right now that nobody knows what's right or wrong. Every major health institution including the CDC and WHO have said that masks are not needed, then they say they are needed but only by first responders and hospital workers.
Word class epidemiologist that treat patients daily say masks are a joke against this virus while epidemiologist that have never seen a patient in their lives, only living in Washington DC and working in the swamp tell us to wear two masks because some professor from Harvard says two masks will put a stop to the pandemic.
Meanwhile world class epidemiologists that treat patients daily continue to speak out and say we don't need a vaccine because we already have a treatment in Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin while being shouted down and canceled by big pharma, politicians and the media.
The media and government officials are ok with just wearing a bandana or a dust mask because that makes you safe from others and your not spreading the virus? You have to be a specially ignorant person to believe that with simple internet searches.
The people preaching this to us in government have been found to ignore their own madates about mask wearing many times. When they do wear them they are constantly touching the very surfaces that could be contaminated to "adjust" their mask instead of doing it properly which shows they don't have a clue about proper PPE.
Those of us who have been trained in the use of gas masks, SCBA used in industrial environments medical workers and firefighters among others know how those masks have to be fitted. A seal must be developed to prevent inhalation or expulsion of contaminates.
None of the current masks used commonly on the street these days do any of that, basically rendering them useless. It's more about making a political statement or a fashion statement.

They say if you’ve had COVID you can’t get it a second time and then they say yes you can. If you get the shot you can’t get COVID. Then you hear either way positive, negative, vaccine or no vaccine you still need to wear a mask. If I can’t get it or pass it along then why do I need to wear a mask? Talked to a nurse last night at work that said they are saying cause of death of inmate is COVID yet he never tested positive, he just had the shot. Sounds like a typical guberment media response to me.

My wife got her shot yesterday on post at Ft. Sill. They are only giving shots to those who work on post. So far she's doing alright. I am still not sure about the vaccines yet. I'll wait awhile to see what the results are once they are giving it out in full force.

Okay, Bullbuster hit on another scare tactic - anyone who dies WITH Covid is reported as dying FROM Covid!! None of the states will ever report this accurately because it undermines our new socialist government agenda where all are supposed to just nod Yes in agreement. Speak out and you'll be cancelled! As stated earlier, my wife is a RN so sees patients who they say died from Covid but never mention their COPD, emphysema, diabetes, smoke, overweight, etc...just that they died from Covid. If they just said died with Covid, I think Okies would take this even less seriously. Unfortunately, I think this is going to be around for a while.

My employer is working on shots for employees but will go to front line personnel first. Us lazy asses behind a desk won't be offered a shot anytime soon!

My brother's mother in law passed away last year of natural causes and on death certificate it said Covid. I talked my cousin who is a doctor he told me that the reason a lot of hospitals and other doctors do this is because they get more money from the insurance companies for Covid related cases and deaths. I think the pandemic is all about keeping everyone in fear and money.

Isn't it funny how the Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin were poo poo'd then hailed and then poo poo'd again. I have no doubt that Covid is real and is a serious threat. But I also thing that many are using the "pandemic" to profit like crazy from it and is a handy scare tactic. For one thing, if it wasn't a political power play, there would be one, maybe two ways of dealing with it and not a Heinze 57 method of mask mandates/zones & other protocol for prevention/treatment/inoculation.

As of 10:45 this a.m.,I have now had the two shot moderna vaccine. my wife said the nurse told her that this dose is 95 stronger than the first. Keep Tylenol close for the headache and see what happens. As of now I don't feel a thing. Even at the injection site I do not feel a thing. Keep you updated.
6:45 have not felt a thing.

My wife temp went to 100 during the night. I thought my forehead was warm but never took it . Both feel fine this morning.

At my 82 year old mothers request and as fire Department/First Responder I got the shots. First one was no big deal. Second one kicked the HOLY DOG SNOT OUT OF ME! Exhausted, body aches, head aches, stomach hurt and I had the drizzling s$!ts! My only advice is DO NOT START OUT DRINKING NATTIE LIGHTS, JIM BEAM AND GINGER ALE FOLLOWED BY JAGERMEISTER SHOTS AND NOT EAT SUPPER THE DAY BEFORE YOU GET THE SECOND SHOT

So far so good on shot #2. Just a bit of a sore shoulder and that's it. We're figuring it'll be around noon when the other side effects should hit, if they are going to. I've been taking B12 & some of the 5 gallons of 800mg Motrin the VA gives me.

Well I’m saddened to report that we had 3 staff members hospitalized over the weekend after receiving there second shots on Friday. Several other staff members complained of increased injection site pain and mild fevers. They are investigating to see if the batch was stored properly and if that could have caused the reactions they had. They are all out of the hospital now but each spent a couple days in.
We also had our first inmate death as result of COVID on Monday. A lifer who’s now served his sentence in full.

I’m still not on par with it.

Well yesterday was fun. Got the #2 shot at 2pm and the next morning I had a weird shaky feeling inside my body. Then all energy and strength just drained out of me. I went to bed and slept for 13hrs solid. Every molecule in my body hurt and the space between molecules hurt. I suddenly woke up and felt fine around 10 last night. Feel fine today, so I guess I'll make it.
