This is on my farm, where a buddy hunts. He is kicking himself for not being in the blind. Left about an hour before. I think he has around 14 points, maybe 16. 150 lb doe checked in this weekend too, at Lamont. Shot about 2 miles from here.
With the full moon, I told my buddy he needed to stay in the blind all day, as they feed all night, and lay up until early afternoon then get up to stretch a little, and a noon snack, but I think the lure of the casino over came him. Sorry about his luck

Its amazing but when I came in from the range tonight, and was cleaning my.44 mag super redhawk , my Britt couldn't get off my lap and wanted to smell the gun. He knows what the smell of gunpowder is and it just excited him. He is so ready for pheasant/quail season. Me too

My 3 year old got ahold of it and got 3 big swigs before i snatched it back. HOLLY SHEETS!!!!!!!!!! That boy was in over drive and higher than a kite on that stuff. Lesson learned. Keep my coffee closer to me and away from the kids.
