Got a good pal of mine we are always buying and swapping each other. He just had to have the gen 4 Glock 29 back I got from him a few years ago (got two the exact same from him in the past five years or so) and we worked out a swap. He is tickled pink and I’m not upset just not in love with the gun. I haven’t fired it so this feeling is based off of looks I guess. All around it seems like a decent pistol just don’t know if I should shoot it and try to like it or just leave brand new never fired it in the safe until he and I agree to trade something else later on. My better half said we have a problem. We might swap ownership on the same firearm a couple times every few years, she might be right but we have fun. This swap was made on a 72hr buy back period and a promise on first call if either come up for sale down the road.

I can't comment on that exact gun. I just sold an XD Tactical in 45acp. I like the ergos of the XDs and I think the trigger was better than a stock Glock trigger. I wouldn't hesitate to own another XD or XDM. As for 10mm, I can't help there. I've shot some really hot 40SW before if that is worth anything, and I didn't care for the snappiness of it all that much, but that was also in a compact. I'd imagine 10mm in a full size anything wouldn't be too bad.

I enjoy the 10mm it’s a fun caliber, tell myself every year I’m going to take a deer with one but haven’t yet.

I'm pretty fond of the M&P 10mm I got last year. Haven't put as many rounds through it as I'd like, but that's subject to change. Finding brass to reload is not impossible, but the sellers think it's worth gold bullion. I'll stumble on someone's stash before long, and get into full production of reloads.
Maybe time to dig out some of the thousands of rounds of different brass in the man cave and start seeing if someone wants to trade.

I have one with the 3.8 inch barrel. With extended mag it fits real nice and I have zero issue with recoil for a compact pistol. Only shot about 100 rounds through it. It’s my first Springfield XD. I‘m used to Sigs, Glocks, and 1911’s, but really like it so far.

I have the 4.5 and the 3.8. Both with Holosuns on em. I’ve shot hogs and deer with the 4.5 so far. I’ve got a load of 13 hrs of blue dot under a 155 gr HP That’s doing almost 1700 fps out of my 8” banshee. Have chronographed it out of 4.5 yet. It’s what a 10mm load should be.
